Local SEO for garages in Nairobi
When a warning light comes on or a car will not start, drivers do not ask around for long. They search, check the rating, and call one of the first garages they see.
- garage near me
- Subaru specialist Nairobi
- car service Industrial Area
- panel beating Westlands
- Mercedes mechanic Nairobi
- car AC repair near me
Car owners search two ways. Some search urgently — “mechanic near me”, “car AC repair” — and choose by distance and rating. Others search for a specialist they can trust with their brand — “Subaru specialist Nairobi”, “Mercedes service” — and are willing to drive across town for the right garage.
Both kinds of customer come back for years if the first visit goes well. Showing up for both kinds of search is what keeps your bays full.
How I help
Four things, done for garages
- 01
A profile that shows what you fix
I set the right main category — auto repair, body shop and so on — and list every service you offer, from servicing and diagnostics to panel beating, so you appear for the specific job a driver needs done.
- Services and the brands you specialise in, each with a short description.
- Opening hours that are accurate — including Saturdays and any emergency or recovery service.
- Photos of your workshop, your equipment and finished work, added regularly.
- 02
Brand and service pages on your website
Specialist searches are where the best customers come from. I add pages for the brands you know best and the services that bring in the most work — “Toyota servicing”, “Subaru engine repair”, “Accident repairs” — so you have something to rank for each one.
Local SEO for your website - 03
Consistent listings
Garages often have old listings with a previous number or location, which costs calls. I find and fix them, and add you to the automotive directories and listings drivers in your area already check.

Reviews and before-and-after photos
Drivers want proof they will not be overcharged. I set up a simple way to ask for a review when a customer collects their car, and turn your before-and-after photos into regular updates on your profile.

Using brand names properly
Saying you specialise in a brand — “Toyota specialist”, “Subaru servicing” — is fine and helps you get found. Implying you are an authorised dealer or official service centre when you are not is not — and Google’s guidelines do not allow it on a business profile either. Everything I write keeps that line clear.
FAQ
Questions garages ask
Should our business name on Google include “Toyota specialist”?
No. Google requires your profile name to be your real business name, and adding keywords to it can get the profile suspended. Your specialities belong in your services, description and website instead.
We also do roadside recovery. Can that show up?
Yes. It goes on your profile as a service, with your hours set accurately, and gets its own page on your website.
We are in Industrial Area. Can we get customers from other parts of Nairobi?
For specialist searches, yes — people will travel for the right garage. For urgent searches, Google favours garages close to the person searching, so we focus on making you the strongest choice nearby.
Do you work with garages outside Nairobi?
Yes. I am based in Nairobi and work with garages anywhere in Kenya.
Where I work with garages: Industrial Area and across Kenya.
Other industries: Private clinics, Law firms, Schools & daycares, Cleaning & pest control, Event & conference venues
