Local SEO for private clinics in Nairobi
When someone in Nairobi needs a dentist, a skin specialist or a physiotherapist, most start with a search — and choose from the handful of clinics Google Maps shows them first.
- dentist near me
- dental clinic Westlands
- teeth whitening Nairobi
- emergency dentist open now
- dermatologist Kilimani
- physiotherapy near me
Choosing a clinic is a trust decision. Before they book, patients look at how close you are, your rating, what other patients say, and whether your photos look like somewhere they would want to be treated. All of that sits on your Google Business Profile, and most of it decides whether Google shows your clinic at all.
Every patient you win through search can be worth years of check-ups, treatments and referrals. That is why being one of the first clinics they see matters more than almost anything else you can do online.
How I help
Four things, done for private clinics
- 01
A Google Business Profile that matches what you treat
The main category is one of the strongest signals Google uses, and clinics often pick one that is too broad. I set the right main category — Dentist, Cosmetic dentist, Dermatologist, Physiotherapist and so on — and list each treatment as a service with a short description.
- Every treatment you offer listed, so you can appear for searches like “teeth whitening” or “braces”, not just “dentist”.
- Your appointment link, opening hours — including Saturdays if you open — and phone number, all correct.
- Photos of your reception, treatment rooms and team (with their consent), added regularly.
- 02
Treatment pages on your website
Patients search for treatments, not just for clinics. I add a page for each of your main treatments — implants, orthodontics, skin treatments, whatever drives your practice — and mark your site up with the structured data Google uses for dental and medical businesses.
Local SEO for your website - 03
Consistent listings, including health directories
Clinics tend to be listed in more places than they realise: medical directories, insurers’ provider lists, old listings from a previous address. I find them, make your details consistent everywhere, and add you where patients in your area are already looking.

Reviews, handled with patient privacy in mind
Reviews matter more for clinics than almost any other business — and replying to them needs more care. I set up a simple way for your front desk to ask happy patients for a review, and draft replies for you to approve that never confirm someone is a patient or mention their treatment.

Working within your profession’s rules
Doctors and dentists in Kenya are regulated by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council, which has rules on how practitioners present themselves. Everything I do is factual — your services, location, hours and genuine patient reviews — and if your council’s guidance rules something out, we leave it out.
FAQ
Questions private clinics ask
Do you work with all types of clinics?
Yes — dental, cosmetic and aesthetic, dermatology, physiotherapy, eye clinics and other specialists. The searches differ, which is why the audit looks at the ones your patients actually use.
How do you handle patient reviews?
I draft replies for you to approve before anything is posted. Replies thank the reviewer and invite them to get in touch, but never confirm that they are a patient or mention their treatment.
We have more than one branch. Can you help?
Yes. Each branch can have its own Google Business Profile and its own page on your website, and each is set up to rank in its own area.
Do you work with clinics outside Nairobi?
Yes. I am based in Nairobi and work with clinics anywhere in Kenya.
Where I work with private clinics: Westlands, Kilimani, Upper Hill, Nairobi CBD, Karen, Kileleshwa & Lavington, Parklands and across Kenya.
Other industries: Law firms, Specialist garages, Schools & daycares, Cleaning & pest control, Event & conference venues
