Digital Macro Sphere is a small development studio. We build websites and automate business systems — and we're deliberately small, because it means the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it.
How we work
- We tell you if we think you don't need what you're asking for
- You get working previews throughout, not one reveal at the end
- You own the code and the accounts — no lock-in
- We explain the trade-offs in plain language and let you decide
That last one comes up more than you would think. The usual decisions look like this:
- A custom build, or something closer to a template
- Launching sooner, or launching more complete
- Hosting you manage yourself, or a support contract where we manage it
- Building a feature now, or proving anyone wants it first
- A cheaper stack today, or lower running costs later
None of these has one right answer. They are your calls to make, and you can only make them if someone explains the cost of each without dressing it up.

We're new. That means you get our full attention, and it means we work in a way that lets you see progress early and stop if it isn't right.
Who you would be working with
Digital Macro Sphere is run by David Junior Mugo. Before starting it he spent three years looking after a non-profit's website and producing the digital material that went with it — the unglamorous, continuous work of keeping a live site current and useful, rather than launching one and walking away from it.
Alongside that sits more than five years of project management, which is the part most relevant to you. It is why a project gets mapped out properly before anything is built, why you know at any point what stage the work is in, and why the timeline you are given at the start is the one you are held to.
It also shapes how the work feels. You are walked through each stage as it happens rather than handed a finished thing at the end and asked to approve it. If something is going to take longer or cost more than expected, you hear it early, from the person doing the work.
